IATP

The IATP is the International Association of Trampoline Parks: the sector's trade association, providing standards, training, accreditation and a collective voice for operators. Membership is voluntary, but in the UK it has hardened into a commercial expectation, because insurers read it as a signal that a park runs to the industry's own rules rather than improvising.

How it connects to the standards

The IATP was closely involved in developing PAS 5000, and membership expectations align with it: court monitoring, session briefings, inspection regimes, incident recording. For a park, the practical stack is PAS 5000 as the specification, IATP as the membership and training layer, and your own logged evidence underneath both. Our trampoline park standards guide maps how the pieces fit, and the injury data post explains the history that produced them.

Evidence is the part SafePlay carries: the compliance dashboard shows your whole PAS 5000 operating rhythm as a live status rather than a claim.
