SafePlay Compliance Hub was born from a simple observation: play venue operators spend too many hours wrestling with spreadsheets, chasing expiry dates, and worrying about compliance — time they should be spending running their venues. Whether you're running a soft play centre tracking EN1176 inspections, a trampoline park managing PAS 5000 requirements, or a family entertainment centre juggling multiple standards at once — the admin burden is real, and it's holding you back.
I'm Rebecca Cooper, and I've spent over 25 years building software — from enterprise systems in financial services to SaaS products for regulated industries. I've worked as a developer, architect, and technical lead across organisations of all sizes. When I started working with play venue operators, I was genuinely surprised. Safety compliance — the most critical part of their business — was still managed with paper checklists and Excel spreadsheets. It felt like a problem nobody had properly tried to solve.
These are people running brilliant venues, keeping kids safe and families happy. But they were drowning in admin — tracking PIPA inspections on one spreadsheet, DBS checks on another, insurance policies in a filing cabinet, and daily checks on paper forms that got lost by lunchtime. I'd seen this pattern before in other industries. Good operators held back by bad tools.
SafePlay was built to fix this. Not a generic compliance tool adapted for play venues, but a platform built from the ground up for the specific regulations, inspections, and workflows that soft play centres, trampoline parks, and activity venues deal with every day. EN1176, PAS 5000, ADIPS, PIPA — we've studied these standards inside out so you don't have to.
We built SafePlay by talking to venue operators, sitting in on inspections, and reading every page of the standards that matter — EN1176, PAS 5000, ADIPS, EN12572. We didn't guess what operators need. We asked, listened, and built exactly that.
We're a UK company, building for UK venues, hosting data on secure EU servers. This isn't a Silicon Valley import — it's built by people who understand the industry and care about getting it right.
